So how do you win the brand makeover?

All registered brand owners or designated agents must be opted-in to the Oddpodz email list. Oddpodz does not share or sell its list ever, however, to stay abreast of all brand makeover contest developments, it’s imperative you are in our email communication database.

The organization or person that wins the brand makeover will be selected based on a cumulative evaluation from the “brand in need’s” submission, feedback from the Oddpodz community and Oddpodz team judgment.

Selection will be based on 6 factors.

1) Popularity of submission – Based on comments and votes (we will be adding a voting application soon)

2) Clearest business need – Most antiquated image; greatest competitive threat

3) Best opportunity – Most promising business model; strongest track record; new product launch

4) Most Worthy Cause – Extra points for social entrepreneurship or cause marketing

5) Coolest company -Hippest, most cutting edge

6) Best Example – The company that could teach others the most from its rebranding

What will be required of me, should I win?

The winning entry that gets the brand makeover will be required to:

  • Answer a questionnaire regarding business goals, history and available resources
  • If you have a business plan, we will ask you share the executive summary
  • Be available for up to five hours of phone conferences discussing the your situation
  • Share any research they have done or have access to
  • Provide a list of 3 competitors
  • Share pictures of current brand touch points and marketing collateral
  • If appropriate, allow Oddpodz team interview key staff members or clients

How do I enter?
Read rules carefully. Failing to follow rules can disqualify you.

  1. Email information on your brand that needs a makeover to contest@oddpodz.com
  2. Type in “Brand Makeover Submission” in the subject line
  3. In the email, include your current brand logo (jpeg files only size no larger than 500k)
  4. Provide your current brand name, your contact name, phone number and mailing address and company website
  5. In less than 500 words (exceeding this word count can disqualify you) tell us about your company and why you need and deserve a brand makeover
  6. If you have a brick and mortar business, send us up to two pictures of your physical location (jpeg files only size no larger than 500k)
  7. If you have a product, send us up to two pictures of your product (jpeg files only size no larger than 500k)

Other important information:
Once submission is reviewed and approved it may take up to 48 hours to post.

If you have been a client of Karen Post or Brain Tattoo Branding you are not eligible to win.

If your brand sells anything illegal, pornographic, harmful or in bad taste you cannot win the brand makeover and we reserve the right to not post any entry we deem inappropriate.

The winner of the brand makeover must agree to let Oddpodz, Karen Post and/or Brain Tattoo Branding publicize the makeover process and results on the their web site and in the media.
